Allow me to take a moment to introduce myself and tell you
a bit of what you are to expect from my blog. As the title of my blog
indicates, I have an addiction to reading, and yes, I do have a problem. Don't
worry, I won't be checking into rehab any time soon...I'll save my rehab stint
to rid myself of that bothersome addiction to alcohol I have. I'm joking! Oh,
what a wonderful start we're at, huh?
If I haven't completely defamed myself,
let me continue with my introduction...
I'm Mocha, writer, book addict and lover of
celebrity gossip. I thought it would be a fun and different idea to take those
three aspects of who I am and combine them to create a blog. My intentions are
to write honest reviews on old and new books and to nose my way into the lives
of authors by giving news updates and a little gossip. To answer the question
you're probably silently yelling at your screen, yes, some authors can live
pretty interesting lives, you just never hear about them...until now. I will
also be posting advice on writing, the occasional rant and hopefully interviews
with any author, literary agent, or editor who will be willing to speak to
me, they're a pretty "busy" lot.
Lastly, I want to create a blog for your
entertainment, something you can read to take your mind off of a glaring deadline,
your stressful job, your slutty friend, or your cheating spouse.
That pretty much sums it up. I'm Mocha, and I'm NOT an
alcoholic, I swear.
